Why Go Bohol?

Bohol is perfect for almost everyone – kids will love the dolphins and the tarsiers, divers would love the sites, beach bums will have their own little Boracay, Mom and Dad would love the fact that Bohol is the cheapest alternative for a great vacation.
Why not go Bohol
Partying in Bohol, especially in the more-touristy Alona Beach is a big disappointment for those who wanted to trip the light fantastic Boracay-style. Partying if there is any, is low-key, with a single ‘club’ (really an open space with a concrete pavement, bar and some tacky green laser sights) at the very end of the small strip. Chances are, you will find some tipsy Korean stumbling around looking for Caucasians to have sex with and have free English lessons (which seems to be very common thing in the Philippines and the local Korean expatriate community hates to admit- the rising number of Korean prostitutes in the Philippines are being whispered around but not really openly admitted). Not a very pretty sight.
